The nephew had his second birthday combined with a Halloween costume party. Since his Aunt and Uncle–that would be the woman and I–are absolutely no fun, it slipped our mind about the costumes. Ahem. Anyway, the rest of the group was much better about such things and dressed accordingly. The child was awash in gifts and very good natured inspite of the late hour and some idiot flashing a light in his face every twelve seconds. These photos were actually worked on. You know, that whole post production thing you hear so much about. Cropping, color correcting, contrast fiddling, general tomfoolery. They do look a bit better than the originals which means I am going to have to make a habit of doing that in the future. Bah. Here they be:
