I was on vacation once… it seems a million years ago but it was a mere two weeks. Anyway, we went to the zoo. And I have a new nifty long lens. And all the animals wanted to pose. I’m sure there was a memo.
Please note the photo of the gorilla. It was taken–do to my inattention–at ISO 12,800. Wow. We live in a time of miracles.
And as to the bear, he was posing. He was also moving like my boy Walter, a combination of long-twitch muscle movements and sniffing the air. Very funny.
